I'm in the same boat as you are and the best I can tell you at this point is to try to overlook it. I may have made some enemies here because I don't care to say what's on my mind. I'm truly sorry if that has happened but, hey, you know, the coffee's been brewing for over an hour now, your eggs are cold and you need to figure a few things out when you finally wake up. LMAO! |

as with everything on usm..don't click it if you don't want to read it..i personally get sick of the childish stuff posted, from what's my cat's name, to what's your favorite cd - to have you heard the lyrics to this..to my boyfriend said that -- so to each his own..i know if i click one of the war posts i'll reply, so if i'm not in the mood to get passionate about how i feel - i stay away from those for a few hours --- and becky is right. |

No, I didn't miss your point, but what's the point of making radman go through the programming to create a new category for something that isn't going to last forever, it's a few days into it and people are already tired of hearing about it? Any time there's anything in the world going on people start talking about being tired of it. It's life, it's what's going on in the world. If you don't like the posts don't read them. I'd rather hear people talking about something like the war that has substance and merit and debating it on either side where you can learn something rather than having to be subjected to the coke or pepsi debates or half of the other mindless posts that are put up at this site. |

but i don't think it's appropriate to bury your head in the sand...as i said..if you need to 'cool it'..step back for a few hours..but to forget what's going on..that affects the whole world , our country - our troops that are risking and some giving their lives - - would be no good. there are PLENTY of us out here that do want to talk about it --the rest need not click in ... |

That's a good idea. I don't like to read about War or whatever. I just don't like to think about it at all. |

Personally, I am *so* impressed that the youth that frequent USM are getting involved and expressing their opinions on this important topic. And, while we are at it, isn't war an "unsolved mystery"? Just a thought... |
