I think I meet satan when I was a little boy,he came in the form of a rooster.It would sit on our fence,stareing at me.. I would ask it if it was the Devil or somwething like that and it would keep stareing at me.I would tell my mom of the rooster,but she would tell me it was my imagination.good think your no one was hurt or taken.Did the boy/man speak?  |

Let's think about this...why would Satan need to hitchhike to get to someplace? He can go just about anywhere on earth that he wants. MAybe it was a practical pranster on the road trying to scare da daylights out of passerbys and it worked. Ever saw the movie Scream?  |

LOL,I think I know what "Satan" looks like,even though has has many forms, He it about 6'4", lovely green eyes (to seduce humans),mid-length hair and it is black or brown,and loves to observe human activity. -Quetz. |

i dont really know ,what satan looks like,i dont know what or who this was,alot of folks have saw this,years apart,my husband,and later my uncle years apart,and they did not know each other,so i know they could not have made up the same story,and i dont know what this thing was doing,but it was thumbing in the rain,and as far as knowing what the devil looks like,,,,,its like everything else,,,ufo"s big foot ,angel's and ect,,,we invision what things look like ,from pictures and ect ,lol i really dont know , satan has many forms, and really if i eer saw anything that looked like the devil ,i know i would not want to talk to it,infact i'd be calling up on the LORD,i'd be scared to death, people see all kinds of strange things,,i saw a ufo last august,i knew what it was,i wrote a post about it,thanks everyone 4 your comments,and i also know a devil 6'4 blue eyes and blue jeans lol,,,,thanks everyone, |

That is the point, no one knows what satan looks like unless he start renouncing himself as Christ, which is what is said in the bible. Now unless that happens, it's most likely just a prankster playing games to everyone. Watch the movie SCREAM and u get my drift. |

Banana why would you come here and try and anger the author, she wrote this under Urban Legend for a reason. don't be snotty about the story, fine, you know that the movie Scream has a bunch of UL in it. Just enjoy the story don't try and ruin it for everyone else by your rude comments.  |

No problem, I don't think you should have to defend yourself or your story. If someone has enough Ka-ho-nas to criticize they should be big enough to submit stories in the same category. Other than that, they aren't worth the time of day. |

ohhh i see...making me out to be the bad person with the 'rude' comments here huh? first off, my intent was not 'rude' as you so put it but is to point out why people think it was the devil when no one knows for sure what the devil looks like...like duh. also, if this is an urban legend, then why did the author said it was a true story in the first sentence of the post? besides, i have read many urban legends so i prolly can tell the diffence but i have never read this one before as an urban legend so it's quite possible that the author of this post had placed it in the wrong catagory, which do happen from time to time. also, this post was written from a first person standpoint, using the words 'my' and 'i' which is somewhat odd for urban legends which tend to be fiction. maybe you can't tell the difference for some reason and miss that part about this being a true story magoo but if that makes me appear 'rude' to you and the author, then so be it. i will not post anything on any of your postings again because my comments are generally well received by the majority. love, |

obviously Banana you have never heard of the ULs that start, "Its true it happened to a friend of a friend." And I am glad for you that you can "prolly can tell the diffence" but this is an UL and it has been around for a long time. Maybe after you get a little more time under your belt you will hear more and be able to comment intelligently on what is written.  |
