Nah I do not hate you but what I do dislike is all the war protests are making our troops feel let down, they are afraid of coming home to be spit on. I too am against the war but I SUPPORT my troops and get very angry when I see all the protests. They are just doing their job and need our support, I mean does anyone really think they Want to be there? Well they don't. But MoonGirl you are wonderful and no one hates you  |

Storm Chaser - Did you see on TV the war protest? OMG.. I could only imagine how our troops feel! They must feel like they aren't doing anything right any more.. It just seems with those war protests they are even disrespecting the troops when they shouldn't!! |

ChatMi FA yes I saw that today and I was sick to my stomach. My son is in Kuwait right now and I know he does not want to be there but it is his job and he has to do it. He is so upset at the thought he may have to kill or be killed but excited that he will also be helping millions of people to have to no longer live in fear. |

I surely don't Moon Girl! I think I feel where you are coming from. Today my daughter flew home for a visit, I'm thankful she is here safe and asleep in her old room. I think so much about our safety now and what it means, our freedom and the price. We took a walk earlier, with the three little ones, went to the park and played and then came home, our family together and happy. If I could, I would give that feeling to the world. Perhaps that sounds condescending, but it seems like all the happiness I have in my life right now, my family, looking forward to our family vacation, comes at a greater cost. Just knowing that others suffer and the world is not at peace. I support our military and the stand our country has taken, I believe that we all do, and we must never take lightly the lives lost on either side of this war.  |

Our soldiers have my utmost respect, and I wish them safe. And I will certainly not spit on them when they return.
