Once so wild
What is now tame and low
So wonderfully vibrant like a little child
From a soul that just will not grow.
Searching deep for compliance
My decisions, suddenly not righteous
Now all that shows is my defiance
Feelings all turned callous.
Hope drains from my body
Oceans of dreams lye on the floor
Surrounded by people that are gaudy
Wishing one would stop to show me the door.
Being lost in an array of sadness
My future remains dull and gray
Left with only one emotion, absentness
Words are gone, I have nothing left to say.
