Wow I think I would have WENT OFF! Nobody should touch a child that is not theres. How dare she, and then threaten them...hmmm LOL No I dont think you overreacted I probably would have taken it over her head...grrrrrr LOL Maybe its because I am still a student and my teachers are so mean that I have a problem with teachers and thinking that they are the childrens mothers. I think you did a great job and got your point across..I probably would have overeacted LOL |

I would have done the exact same thing. Asked the name and then confronted her. You confronted her nicely I would have totally went off. Who does she think she is touching a child out of anger. It is said that you should be touched 17 times daily to remain mentally healthy but when someone touches a child like you described the teacher doing to your son that does far more harm. -jenn |

JellieBean I am one to confront the person, not go over their heads. That way they hear it from me. Thank you for your comment. It took alot for me to keep my composure, JenniferAnna. Thank you for your comment, as well. |

I don't think you over reacted at all. That teacher shouldn't have grabbed your son like that!! When I was in the 3rd the Phys ed coach picked this kid up by the back of his shirt and and took him over to the other side of the gym just because he wasn't on the right team. Someone reported him for that and some other things and he ended up getting fired, he deserved it! He wasn't a very nice person. -BreathingBody |

You did the right thing and maybe you still need to bring it to the principal's, the school board and the school adminitrations notice. That is not appropriate behavior from a teacher. |

My daughter had a teacher like that when she was in Kindergarten. I had words with this teacher, but I keep my cool the whole time. I just let her know that I would be watching her, and asking my child, "How was school?" VERY often. I ended our conversation by saying, "Mrs. Smith, you don't want to pi$$ me off, Good day." Smiled and walked out. You didn't over react at all, teachers like that need a "rude" wake up call. |

No i don't think you over reacted at all, some teachers think they have the right to do whatever they like. If i were you i'd have said that if she ever touched your child again you'd report her. love |
