***How Many More***

How many more have to die in the name of religion before we find our peace
How many more have to die in vain, have to die in vain
Constantly a horde
I'm breaking through the wretched
I'm gliding through the stains that we leave as a trail to a link
To the brink of insanity
I missed my dose
The walls are coming in close
And as they do I'll have to cry my way out
*Is this the way out?Somebody turn a light on for me.
*I'm waiting.I'm staying.I'm watching desperately.*
*Why do you search for a reason to fight.*
*You just think that I'm wrong and you think that you're right.*
How many innocent lives will be taken before we realize the pain
How many more have to die in vain, have to die in vain
So many lives are broken
Many enemies left unspoken
I'm just a speck of dirt in a world once made for sand
I'm holding my own at least
Maiming through the yeast
Never moving from west to east
They're not gonna chase me out
*Is this the way out?Somebody turn a light on for me.
*I'm waiting.I'm staying.I'm watching desperately.*
*Why do you search for a reason to fight.*
*You just think that I'm wrong and you think that you're right.*
How many wars will be faught before we realize how much hate we brought
How many more have to die in vain, have to die in vain
If there's excuses for stupidity than everybody's innocent
If everybody's innocent then I guess everything's ok
That's not the way I see it
That's not what I'm about
My only goal is to live an die
It's the only way out
*Is this the way out?Somebody turn a light on for me.
*I'm waiting.I'm staying.I'm watching desperately.*
*Why do you search for a reason to fight.*
*You just think that I'm wrong and you think that you're right.*
