~I Need Some Advice~

Ok,some of you may have seen a few of my posts. I've been writing about my friend who is 30. His name is Dave. Well,alot of people know I like him. My dad knows him and their friends. So,my dad is cool with me liking him. I go places with Dave and even go by his place sometimes. Well,all we are is friends and have been about 3 years. Well,recently I told Dave I feel like I'm in love. He doesn't think I should be in love,he says he's nothing special. But,I feel totally different about that. He is very special. I don't have alot of friends. And,for me it's hard getting friends. Alot of people don't wanna spend time getting to know me like Dave has. Well,here's the thing. I am to the point now that sometimes a day without him just seems like forever. I only get to see him once a week mostly. Sometimes twice. But,he's working at night now so it's hard to see him sometimes. Last time I saw him I only got to see him for like 20 minutes. I emailed him telling him how I wish we could spend more than 20 minutes together. I love seeing him but a few minutes once a week or so just isn't enough. I've cried quit a few times. And,sometimes he knows I get upset. I wanna find a way to spend more time with him. I can't drive yet. But,I should be driving in a month or 2. So,I'm thinking things will get better once I'm driving. Now,I know what alot of people think about this. But,I'm legal,so technically Dave and I could date if we wanted to. Well,I am wishing I could spend like a day with him. I don't know if this post makes sense. But,I miss Dave alot. So,like what should I do? I'm really hoping and wishing that this will be the year he'll wanna go out with me and be bf/gf. I really think that oneday it could happen. But,I don't know when. But,I'm hoping it's this year. Anyone have any advice? Without saying get over him. Because I'm not gonna do that right now. I like him to much. And,we're really good friends.
