Wisdom From the Library!

I always find wisdom in my books, and here's one which left me thinking for a long time:

"There is no escape--we pay for the violence of our ancestors." From "Dune", by Frank Herbert.

Considering current events, I think we and our descendants are going to be paying for a long time.
