I've got nothing better to do
Than to sit over here and pick on you
Ask you questions left and right
Drive you crazy in the dead of night
But if you weren't sitting over there
I wouldn't have anyone, Papa Bear :(
So keep that recliner nice and warm
I'll keep pickin'-don't mean no harm
How many licks does it take
To get to the middle of a birthday cake?
How many bottles can be fed
Before our baby's first words are said?
How long does a woodpecker peck
Before he gives up and says 'what the heck'?'
How many times will you tie your shoe
Before our next phone bill is due?
One more thing before you call it a night
Do you ever wonder if I'm alright?
You know, in the head, right upstairs?
Nonetheless, I thank God for you every night in my prayers!
