oh I just thought of something else. You can post in author only under serious advice, it will show up on your list of stories but no one can read it. |

I wish they would do that for serious advice....(So it wouldn't even show up in your Story list)I know we can do it in AO but then you end up with people who check out your stories asking 'are you ok?' 'what's going on?' UGH

...this would be a good thing to have right now, on replies. I have to be careful what I write these days. My wife printed out lots of pages of my posts and replies because she thought I had "something going on" here. In addition, she has a friend from another site that also comes here and keeps her up to date on my nefarious scheming. It's almost laughable, but I have to live with it. I can see why this might come in handy, but, I like to live dangerously. LOL!  |

thats a good idea. but even if you go into serious advice, (not even AO), people can read it, but you won't get many replies because only certain admins can reply in there. and if you post in AO in any other section, STILL no one can see it but certain admins. I'm sure the admins are good with some advice, but sometimes its nice to get advice or replies from a lot more different people, rather than just admins. So, to make a long story short, GOOD IDEA! lol  |

I know i've posted some advice about this certain girl that I really dislike and one of my other friends reads my posts (but shes not a member) and she has recently become friends with this girl and if she ever gets mad at me she may tell this girl what i've said about her and I really wouldn't want something like that to happen. -BreathingBody  |

Ok, everyone thinks that this is such a great idea but i really do hate to disagree. Uhhh where do i start...go to log-on and read what it said: We offered free membership for years until some bad visitors started coming to our site and caused a lot of problems. If there are anonymous posts then some peiple could just write anything that they felt...and then USM wouldnt be able to track them at all...

60080: Yes, but the USM Admin WILL be able to identify the people, so they can make sure they dont cause trouble, its just so people like their friends and stuff can't see. |
