This a good question, and hard to answer. Usually, the rumors that aren't true end up hurting a person worse than if it were true in most cases. Stupid rumors. lol  |

I think that a rumour being spread about you that isnt true is worse..People tend to FEED off of gossip and dont stop and think that someday this could be THEM that is being gossiped about.  |

depends on what the rumor is. i would never want a rumor going around that isn't true, which has happened to me. But then again, some of the things that are true, i'd prefer ppl not know about.  |

I think that a rumor that is true that's going around because if you've done something that you don't want to go around it's going to be a lot worse than a rumor that isn't true. You can lalways put yourself higher than the rumor and tell your friends that it isn't true and they'll believe you but if you lie to your friends about something that is true it would hurt the friendship. =-bootz-=  |

A rumor that isn't If it is true shouldn't one mnot be afraid to admit it? They did it so why not. I don't know though. If someone spread a true rumor about me and someone asked me about it I'd tell them the truth, i definitly wouldn't run around and be like "HEY! It's true guys!" or anything, but I'm not gonna hide it. If it isn't true I'd be pretty mad.  |
