Same thing happened to me. Watch out for when they send you the stuff about going to one of their conferences at a "discount" price. That's a complete lie. I'm glad I didn't give them any money.  |

i agree that something should be done about that site. i entered it twice and both times my poems were "picked". it get's your hopes up so much. then you get the letter saying "for money you can own a copy of this book that we're publishing you in.".it's ridiculous. at least you were warned before you lost any money. i entered a long time ago and never sent for the book. to this day i still get stuff in the mail trying to sell me my poem on a plaque or someone reading my poem on a cassette.it's like, why i pay to buy my own work?! lol. i honestly think it needs to be shut down.  |
