...Giant Gollum Attacks NZ City...........Agent Smith...

Hi Peeps,

Help! My city (Wellington) is under attack by a giant Gollum out of Lord of the Rings...currently it is holed up on top of one of the picture theatres and scaring traffic that drives past below...

...actually, its merely a large model made by Wingnut Productions (the guys who did LotR). Is currently on top of the Embassy Theatre here in the city, peering over the roof and reaching down to a large revolving gold ring situated above the entrance way to the Theatre.

The Embassy Theatre has been the theatre which has hosted each NZ release of each episode of the LotR trilogy, and will also host the World Premiere of the 3rd and final part, 'Return of the King'.

During the first episode, 'Fellowship of the Ring', the Theatre featured a 30ft Cave Troll welding a huge club above its head gaurding the entrance to the theatre...

...wanna see the Gollum?? Well...there is a webcam situated on Courtney Place, a street in the city, that looks down towards the Embassy Theatre...the Theatre is that pale white building, about 3-storeys high, just through the traffic lights...can you see Gollum peering over the building and reaching down?? Can you see the revolving ring?? Webcam updates every few seconds...

...that intersection by the traffic lights will also, when 'Return of the King' is released, be cordoned off and there will be a huge street parade to mark the Premiere, as well as stars from LotR arriving to watch...so ya might wanna save the link to your 'favourites' if your a LotR fan...and watch the Premiere parade and arrival of the stars LIVE when it happens...
