Anybody watch American Idol tonight? I did and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they are, for once, taking talent over looks. Frenchie, the heavy metal dude, and some of the others aren't like all the other pop princes and princesses. I personally like Frenchie. Sure, she's big, but she has a great personality, plus she can sing! And if people are going to vote her out just because of her looks, then they are very shallow. We live in a shallow society, everyone, and it's time that we look past looks and see what lies underneath the exterior of a people. Just because some of these people aren't twigs doesn't mean they don't have talent. And it's good to see that there are some plain people as well. It isn't about looks this time.
