Attending Karen’s Funeral this morning was a very warm, loving and peaceful event.
Karen has left a message for her family and all of her extended family and friends here at USM through her Pastor William Schmautz. That message which she wanted all of us know is that there is a Heaven and that she is there NOW, and that there is no sorrow, nor crying, nor pain, but Pure (Karen) Joy (Gail).
For God has said so in His word.
ISAIAH 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
REVELATION 21:1-6 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Jesus said in John 14:1-4 LET not your hear be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
And on the cross between the two thieves, it is recorded in LUKE 23:42-43 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into they kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
That was Karen’s message today for all of us, that she is indeed in Paradise with the Lord Jesus. Blessed be the name of the Lord,
