I ate some ice cream and clam chowder.. I can't eat anything I have to chew for a very long time. I guess the swellen should go down in the next 3 days. It's not that bad.   |

The bad thing is..I had read a lot of stories saying it didn't hurt. But it really hurt for me. I was so brave about it since my nose didn't hurt. |

well, those are the two things i want to get done too! my brother got his tounge done, it didn't swell too bad, he could still eat, and talk right after it was done. if you put a lot of ice, and listerine and stuff on it, it should help!  |

I have to ask, why would you want to put a hole in your tongue and wear a piece of metal in your mouth? Not only are people with pierced tongues having problems with their teeth getting cracked by the studs they wear, but also, then seem to like to play with their tongue studs a lot. It makes them appear a little too focused on their mouths... Just curious...  |

I'm wanting to get mine done but I'm not a person that likes pain...altho I did get a tattoo and that felt good after 3 minutes lol gave me an adrenaline rush and I felt like I was on cloud 9...I dunno if I could handle my tongue being swollen tho...I get very paranoid about piercings too, had a bad experience when I was lil and I'm not saying it here, might scare the lil ones who get on here  |

Wild Bob, if the tounge piercing is done properly, and if they have the right jewelry in, then tongue piercings are very safe, and do no damage to your teeth. |
