Note:: This poem was written in defience of concrete poetry...for those of you who are not familiar with it, it is where you write a poem, but write it in the shape of what the poem is about. For our language class we are required to write a concrete poem... Me being the "rebel" I am, decided to write a poem about a poem, so that the concrete poem could be written in the form of a poem :).
Thoughts jotted down, on sticky notes Not the feelings inside, but the words you wrote Expressing onesself, can be such a pain But can drain all your fears, and leave nothing the same
The task at hand, is to write a rhyme That matches itself, at every point in time And in this rhyme are the feelings you feel Yet leave it obscure, so as not to reveal
The tempo and pattern, to which you refer Is yours to make up, I will not infer It's your right to say, which words to delay I for one, will not add to the melee
But keep in mind, pencil at hand This poem you write, it must be grand It must stand... as one, individual from all This poem you write, must stand tall
Away from the crowd, to speak of in theory This poem you write, could be creepy or eerie The only limit you have on this poem you write Is your motive, your logic. - THIS poem's in spite You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click hereScroll all the way down to read replies.Show all stories by Author: 53547 ( Click here )
