Need help finding books for early reader and 5-7 gr lvl

First off, Im a bit lost as to where to find very early reader books. You know the kind that have one sentence per page. My son is in kindergarten and me writting words on paper just doesnt cut it for him anymore lol. Maybe even a website that has something I could print out and make into a book. That way he can read it AND color the pictures. This will help my daughter also, she will be in kindergarten next year. BTW Im not wanting to pay $12.00 for a book that has 12 words in it :P Next thing is more directed at younger members here (if adults can help cool). Im not really up on books of today, so Im not sure whats out there. Do you know of any books that are in the 5-7 grade reading level that are a spooky kind of books, maybe a series? Kinda like Goosebumps? My son loves those books, but I want to get him into a higher level of reading, not to mention that they get points for what they read, he has to now read a book at the 6th grade level, I am assuming that next month it will be 7th. Any help would be great :)

Date: 1/29/2003 3:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 60018    I suggest the Harry Potter books for the older one. I know that it doesn't seem like they would be for that age level but you'd be surprised at how easy they are to read.
