Inexpensive Dandruff Solution
Since those "medicated" dandruff shampoos can be so expensive, I hope this helps someone out there! Wash your hair with Listerine. The antiseptic prevents dandruff. In fact, Listerine used to advertise on the back of the bottle that this mouthwash also cures dandruff when applied to the hair.
Another cure for dandruff is ReaLemon lemon juice. Apply one tablespoon to your hair, shampoo, and rinse. Then rinse again with two tablespoons of ReaLemon and two cups of water. Repeat every other day until dandruff disappears. The side benefit? You'll smell lemon fresh! Terri Z. of Corning, CA

Dated
When I buy eggs, I put the eggs in a plastic bin that came with our refrigerator. In the past, I often found myself wondering if my eggs were still good or if they were past their expiration date.
I recently started tearing off the expiration date from the egg's original container and slipping the date into the front of the clear egg bin. Now I can easily see if the eggs are nearing their expiration date and use them quickly instead of throwing them away "just to be on the safe side." Theresa C. in Indiana

Professional Grade
For many years, I worked in the restaurant appliance repair business. I found a very good source for pots and pans along with other kitchen items. Check in your local area for a Restaurant Equipment Sales and Service store.
They usually carry a large quantity of items at good prices. The pots and pans last for years, as do their knives. Mike from Minnesota

Unpayable Doctor Bills
I was recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and put out of work. As the doctor bills piled high, we kept sinking lower. One day I picked up the phone with all the bills in hand. I called each one and explained my situation.
I saved almost $300 by asking if they would accept 75 percent of the remaining balance. Some took my number to call back with an answer and others said no from the beginning. Because some of the hospitals and doctors saw the opportunity to get the majority of the bill versus none, they took me up on the deal. The next day I was able to pay off all but two and we are working on those. AK

Mouse Medic
Where I live there is a lot of dust and it ruins the computer mouse. I was buying a new computer mouse every 6 months because it became very sticky and impossible to use. Yesterday, I figured out how to clean the mouse and now it works like new!
Open the back of the mouse and gently remove the ball. There should be three small rolling pieces on the sides. Remove the cotton from a q-tip and dip in rubbing alcohol or peroxide and gently clean off the dirt and dust stuck to these pieces. You can use tweezers to remove any other dust or dust balls from inside the mouse. Blowing hard into the mouse may also help. Replace the ball and back of the mouse and your mouse should glide smoothly once again. Sara
