I made up a list of my top 3 favorite books of all time. They're mostly semi-controversial books directed towards teens, but I they're all really really good, and IMO a must read for everyone. I'll post my top 10 list later, when I can get the Authors for the rest of them.

3. Go Ask Alice- by Anonymous-- I've read this book more times than I can remember, and it just gets better and better everytime. It's a real life diary about a drug user in the 70's. She messes up her life severly, and struggles to get back. This girls goes through so much, I couldn't help crying. If you haven't read this book, go read it... NOW! It's that good.

2. Give A Boy A Gun- by Todd Strasser-- This was very close to being #1, it's a fiction about a school shooting, written out in snipits from teachers, friends, and other people involved. It was a very sad book. I litterally could not put it down, I checked it out from the library 7th period, and finished it before I went to sleep that night.

1. Smack - by Melvin Burgess-- This Book has to be the best book I've ever read. It's a ficiton about drug use, mainly Heroine, also known as Smack. It's written out in the form of journal entries, mainly by 2 people, Gemma, and Tar. They're runaways in Bristol. Althogh there's at least one entrie from each character in the book. I give this book 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up, it's a must read.

P.S. If you've read any of these books, I'd like to hear your opinion on them.

Date: 1/28/2003 6:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 50193    A real-life anonymous diary that I do recommend, however, is "It Happened To Nancy". It's about a teenage girl who was raped by a guy shoe thought she could trust, and ended up getting HIV.
