Questions about life that I am afraid to ask! groovyalien

I was wondering, can you catch a disease from your cats? I am asking this because all 14 of my parents cats are sneezing, and my dad caught a cold recently and I have been sneezing to a lot and I not have a begginning cough that hurts when I cough but no soar throat. I was wondering if I caught some kind of cold from it? I do take allergy medicine for about 4 months now, THANK GOD!!, even though it does not seem to always clear my nose up, but I am worried! I almost feel like I am getting brontchitis, I did have that just 4 years ago where to the point where I could of gotten pnuemonia. Or could I be getting sick from the second-hand smoke I breathe in from both of my parents with all the doors and windows closed?? I was also wondering, if someone makes a wireless connection for the internet. Meaning that I was actually allowed to buy a notebook computer recently, and I wanted to bring it to school, and I KNOW that I have to watch it closely which is no problem because my school is less that 5 hundred so on my spare time I wanted to connect with the internet without using the phoneline at home because I don't know when my parents would use the phone so I was wondering if there was another way without paying a seperate fee for a second phone line? Last question, is it safe for teenagers to take a fiber tablet like a vitamin because I really lack on the fiber because sad to say I am a picky eater and I am NOT proud of it because I wanted to take a fiber tablet each day so I can go to the bathroom because I have a had problems with that, you know what I mean, but I always had problems with that until Christmas time and now, it has been really bad. I mean just for a couple of years until I graduate in 2005, then I want to change my life around, and for once eat the right foods when I move 2,000 miles away from home!
