Of love and the Sopranos...

Hey everyone.... I am in dire need of your advice and wisdom. ;) Here we go,

I am very interested in the son of an old family friend. He's 25 and I am 24.

have always been good friends with his mom even before I met him. He's such a

wonderful guy. He's smart, funny and good looking...but he's also super shy!!

Well recently, we have been talking more and we both finally admitted that we

are attracted to eachother and would like to pursue a relationship when I get

back up to Canada. But however, that won't be until May!! I was out the other

and was approached my a classmate, he was inquiring about my last semester book

for a class I had already had. He was currently taking this class and was

having a horrible time finding the book for class. He didn't have money to buy

the book from me so we worked out a trade. He said he would trade me an

authentic Sopranos autographed poster (signed bt the guy who plays "Tony") for

it. I agreed, so we made the trade. It's (poster) is very nice and I thought

about sending it to my guy in Canada, cause I know he's absolutely obsessed

with the Sopranos. But I don't want him to feel weird about it. I don't want

him to think I got him it because I am trying to buy his affections. I just

wanted to show him that I was just thinking of him that's all. Do guys really

read too much into things like we girls sometimes do? Any advice? Thanks!!! :)

You say you know the guy really well, and you've both admitted that you're attracted to one another, so why not send it to him? Tell him that you were thinking of him, and thought he would love it more than you would. He'll probably just appreciate it, plus it'll get the sparks flying a little bit. Good luck! :-D

Well I told him I had a surprise for him, he was like "You shouldn't have, although I admit I am curious to know what it is!" I broke down and e-mailed back telling him what it was. His sister said he was going to flip out over it ( the good way). I really hope so, I am still nervous, cause I am waiting to hear back from him. I hope he doesn't think I am weird or whatever! lol
