You've probably heard this before and don't want to hear it again, but I'm going to say it anyway. Just be yourself. If someone doesn't like you for who you are, you don't need them. I used to be shy around guys too when I was younger. As for that, I will tell you what someone told me once. Practice by imagining that you are meeting people. Think about how you would start the conversation and what all you would say. If you fear rejection, just ask yourself if their negative response will matter to you in 6 months or a year. It sounds silly, but it really did help me. Good luck! |

either they're intimidated by you. just wait until you get a bit older, most chicks i've known have had better luck in the 8th-9th grade as far as actual relationships go. my first boyfriend i got at either 14 or 15...we fell for each other and then things got complicated because of our age. take it slow, relaz, enjoy life. men aren't a necessity. if you need someone to talk to try getting a cat or a dog or different pet. or you could just msg me. . |

There really is more to look forward to in life than a companion. I'm sure that once you're not looking, he will find you. You just need to give it time.....and spend that time doing something productive. I'm weird myself, and that has nothing to do with it. And I'm sure if you practice a little more by talking to guys, you won't be so shy. |

...and might i add, that once a guy likes you in return, and you get to know him well enough, i'm sure you'll wonder why you wanted him in the first place, lol |

I have the same problem...i have like 2 guys who like me (at school) and they are both weird ppl. One is so strong that when you tell him no hes grabs your arma dn you can't pull away so he's a DEFINATE no and the other one is just plain weird...he is involved in some bad hings too so hes definatly a no too...so i dunno i am no perdy girl either...i think i am one ugly duckling!!! |

I heard that guys are intimidated by beautiful girls. I've never been asked for a date in my hick school, but I only have a few months left, so it really doesn't matter. If you live in a small hick town, I'm sure you just need to get out of there; there are more open-minded guys elsewhere. Don't worry. And if a guy is going to judge you just for your appearance, then he's a piece of crap. I hate judgemental jerks. |

I've seen your pictures at LSR's site and I'll tell you the truth. I don't think the guys think you're weird. I think they're just a little bit shy because you're so pretty. |
