Am I really the 'other woman' ? (kinda long, sorry)

My best guy-friend(who I hang out with all the time and Im a girl)just got a girlfriend a couple of days ago.Its been going fine so far. were all friends, but lately, shes been asking me if I think of him as more than a friend.At first, I figured she was just making sure he was hers.Well, shes been badgering me with that same question and I have repeatedly said no.And it really takes all my self control not to tell her the truth that he doesnt love her (just likes her)whenever she says there gonna be together forever, like she warning me to stay away.Now, Ive known this guy since 2nd grade, but we werent friends till sixth, and I admit, I had a crush on him that year in sixth grade, but i got over it, I cant even look at him like that anymore, let alone try and 'steal' him.Now theres this other girl whos his friend, but hates me.Shes telling his girl friend that Ive loved him since kindergarten(didnt know him till 2nd) and is insisting that I love him, this girl is known for lying, but his girlfiend says she would never lie to her(which is obviously wrong).Now she(my friends girlfriend)is saying that its true love and they're gonna be together forever(which is ridiculous because we're in the 7th grade)and I cant do anything about it, or even I cant ruin it.now Ive never implied that i like him or anything that would make her say that.and i dont think anyones every even thought of me as a love intrest, and defenately not a homewrecker, so I wish I knew why shes so threatened by me.I think all she wants is more drama.on the other hand, it might not even be her who wants drama, but the other girls telling lies(which would make sense because she thrives on drama).

Anyways, I cant get her to stop harrassing me with these questions. and Im on the verge of telling her boyfriend to get her to lay off, but Im afraid that will bring more unwanted attention and drama.any one have any suggestions?
