Recently, my oldest brother and I were have a, for lack of a better word, spiritual coversation. I recalled being very young,4 or5, sitting on his bed. He told me and my other brother he saw an angel the night before. He was scared and didn't elaborate. I brought this incident up to him during our recent conversation. He said It was no angel he saw. (??? I swear that's what he said years before) It was dawn, just barely light outside,he was laying in bed asleep. He awoke to the the most unearthly noise outside.It sound like a car being ripped apart and scaping on the ground. He looked out the window and saw something horrific running down the street, away from our house. Then, he said, my dad appeared at his doorway, dressed in shorts, black socks, a sweaty t shirt and a headband. He told my brother everything was okay now and to go back to sleep. He fell back a sleep. Later in the morning he told me he thanked my dad for coming into his room and that he made my brother feel safe. My dad told him he didn't come into his room that morning. He didn't know what my brother was talking about. After hearing this story, I went to my father and asked if he remembered this. He said (my dad is a wonderful, well-respected, Christian man) he remembered my brother saying "some one who looked like me came into his room". How it changed my life:Weird story. I believe it because so many people remember being involved. I wonder if an angel or good spirit kept my brother safe and disguised itself as my father to keep him calm. Hmmmm...
