Try taking a hot bath and/or reading. That might help. Tomorrow night, you might want to have a glass of milk right before you go to bed. I hope that helps. |

I have this same problem! You can try benedryl (sp?) unisom (it's a sleep aid), or Melatonin. I've tried all of them..it may help you but check with your doctor first or your pharamicist before taking any of them. If you don't want to take any pills then you can stay up an entire day..I use to do it..I don't like to do it anymore because it makes me sick. Or when you do fall asleep make sure you get up at a certain hour or set your alarm and start waking up earlier..you may be sleepy throughout the day but atleast you'll be able to sleep at night. |

I know this isn't the healthiest thing, but when I really can't sleep, I'll take a sleeping pill. I don't suggest you do it, though. It's not good. But doing yoga can help mellow you out. Being physically active can help(the only reason I can't sleep is because my mattress is uncomfortable and has springs sticking up in it; they hurt!). Maybe you need a new bed, too. Or you could go sleep on the couch or something. I don't know. I hope you get to sleep. |
