Blood on the Mercy Seat On January 6, 1982 Ron Wyatt claimed to have located the chamber containing the Ark of the Covenant. He had earlier discovered what he believed to be a crucifixion site directly above that chamber. Ron determined that during the earthquake, at the time of the crucifixion, "the rocks were rent" and that a crack was formed connecting the site of the crucifixion and the chamber containing the Ark of the Covenant.
Ron has stated that, at the time of the crucifixion, the blood of Christ "went down through that crack: onto the mercy seat of the Ark of the Covenant that God had arranged to be hidden in that chamber hundreds of years before Christ died." Click to Enlarge "Squarish Hole" & "Crack"" Blood samples were taken from the Ark of the Covenant dig and microscopic analysis has been performed. There has been much talk of non-existent reports relating to the genetic material found in the blood. There is, however, solid evidence to suggest that the sample taken by Ron Wyatt is indeed blood. Wyatt Archaeological Research is now prepared to provide that evidence.
In order to understand the evidence which we will present, it is necessary to provide a brief overview of the discovery of living blood particles which are too small to be seen using normal light microscopy.
These blood particles have been found by scientists to be as they state "indestructible." Dried blood when re-hydrated is found to contain these living particles.
"...it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof:" .......Leviticus 17:14 Click to Enlarge "Ultra-Darkfield Microscopic Image" These living particles have been found to contain genetic material yet to be understood by the scientific community. They have been found to polymorphic in nature, capable of changing forms, and to be "unaffected by extreme high temperatures, extremely toxic chemicals, or even nuclear radiation" They have been described as "an ultramicroscopic sub-cellular living and reproducing entity, which many scientists believe is the precursor of DNA and which may be the building block of all terrestrial life" ......Christopher Bird, The Persecution and Trial of Gaston Naessens
These tiny particles, some of which are less than one tenth of a micron in size have been recognized by various names including Microzymes, Agens, Endobiont, polymorpha, du sangre, Micromycet, Onkonyxa, Mikroorganisms, Mycoplasma like bodies and by the term "Somatid" meaning "the body that creates."
The French scientist Gaston Naessens is responsible for naming the particles "Somatids." Professor Naessens developed a light microscope capable of viewing these tiny particles which are normally invisible to standard medical microscopes. His microscope is recognized around the world for it's resolution abilities.
As a result of medical necessity and intense research, Richard Rives, President of Wyatt Archaeological Research, became aware of the existence of these tiny living particles "Somatids." He found that in the absence of bacterial cells in urine cultures, which normally divide producing more bacteria, cells would suddenly appear out of nowhere. The question was: where did the bacteria come from. A medical doctor, who was a friend of Richard's suggested that he might check into the claims of Gaston Naessens, that sub-cellular particles existed, capable of developing into "bacteria like forms."
From information that Richard was able to obtain he constructed his own microscope, based on the designs of Gaston Naessens, which was able to reveal the tiny particles. Richard found that these particles were indeed present in the urine samples even when bacterial cells were not present and that they were actually developing into the "bacterial like particles" described by Naessens. Click to Enlarge Microscope in it's present "improved" state It must be stated that the mere presence of these particles in no way proves that the sample taken is "the blood of Christ." These particles would be present an any re-hydrated blood. What is extremely significant is the fact that the sample taken was proclaimed by Ron Wyatt to be blood from a crucifixion site. The presence of these particles tends to confirm his statement.
In 1996, Richard Rives, using the microscope described above, in the presence and with the assistance of Mary Nell Wyatt and Tim Mitchell, was able to view the tiny living particles in the re-hydrated sample which has was described by Ron Wyatt as "the blood of Christ."
