This is a true story:

I was working at the store behind the cash register. The candy is against the wall by the front door. Its located right in front of me. My sister Trisha was also working that day. She happened to be sweeping in front of the door to the right side of the store.

I had my back to the register working on some other things when I turned and noticed the little girl looking at the candy. She was about 6 years old with long blonde curly hair. The front door squeaks and its a older wood door. She did not come in or leave through that door. I would have known without a doubt.

I turned back to what I was doing for just a moment and turned back to the little girl to see if she was ready to check out. The little girl was GONE! I asked my sister "Where did she go?" She looked at me with a puzzled face and said "Where has who gone?" I told her the little girl and explained what she looked like. I searched the store over for her and she wasnt there. My sister did not see the little girl at all and she did not walk by her and go out that door.

Well, I found out yesterday WHO she was! Get this:

Clarence is an ederly man that comes in and talks with me briefly about the ghosts and spirits that hang around in the store. (Read my other posts..The hauntings of Prairieville Store)

He sees them as well at times....Anyhow I got on the subject about the little girl...He tells me that her name is Elizabeth and she died of pnemonia back in the 1920's when there was a major epedemic in this area and so many children died at that time. He started telling me what she looked like and I told him to wait. I wanted to tell him what she looked like to verify it was the same little girl. He was smiling saying Yep, yep, thats her.

When he said her name is Elizabeth I knew it was....I had a very good feeling...I do know its her.

Ive only seen her once and it was freaky how she was full bodied like she belonged there. All the spirits I have seen none of them were like hers.

Katsho

How it changed my life:

It hasnt changed my life just validates the Other Side.....

Date: 1/1/2003 6:02:00 PM  From Authorid: 53427    Very interesting story. I totally believe in ghosts but I don't know if I could handle seeing one. I would be terrified.
Date: 1/1/2003 6:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 20296    I also usually "feel" before I see...although not always. the fact that she was a child might mean that he energy was more "pure" or less strong. who knows. it is kinda neat to have verification of the afterlife...but also can be quite scary...to me anyways
