Help!!! I need a mechanic!

  Author:  39779  Category:(General Advice) Created:(1/1/2003 3:36:00 PM)

I have a 1984 Ford Thunderbird with a v6 engine. I had to replace a fuel pump on it or so I was told. I have already replaced the external one which is what I was told to do. Now I need to know which wire is the hot wire for the fuel pump in the gas tank. Hopefully this will fix my problem. Any help anyone can give me would really be appreciated. Hugs and Kisses

Date: 1/1/2003 4:29:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 39779    Thanxz for the help but I am kind of doing this solo and it is the first time I have had to do a fuel pump before. So I need someone who knows some specifics. I don't want to go out there and end up blowing myself up. I'm too cute.
Date: 1/1/2003 4:44:00 PM  From Authorid: 47699    I don't know about there but they have manuals for a lot of makes and models at our public library. If that doesn't work, just call a parts store or even a mechanic. They would probably be willing to tell you. Good luck.
