After a night of pizza, cookies and sparkling cider, and a day of coloring, home-done haircuts, and tidying, I took the kids outside for three little fireworks their Aunt and Uncle gave them for Christmas. I told them they could stay up late and watch a movie in their room, and kissed them goodnight, telling them I'd see them next year.
Well, I heard their movie ending and hadn't heard from them in a while, so I figured they were out cold. When I went in to turn their tv off, I saw the most precious sight, big brother laying with him arm arouund his lil' bro, just like pals. Such sweet angels I tell ya. Anyhow, I thought this was a very special way to end the old year, at least I know my family's love is in tact. Happy New Years New York. The ball dropped one minute after I came out of the room! It was awesome as always! I wonder if Flame-on is out there in the crowd...NKA?
