What do I use on horrible stains??

When I first moved into my house I noticed the floor in my bedroom was the one with the most stains i'd ever seen in my whole life. I'm guessing that was the bedroom with all the kids in it. Most of them look like tea, coke and old redish brown stains so does anyone know what to put on the carpet to get rid of them?? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thx! -BreathingBody

Date: 12/26/2002 10:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 53836    get some Oxy CLeean and rent a steam cleaner...use a bunch of Oxyclean and hot water...first sweep and vacuum room, then scrub spots with some of cleaning solution by hand, that way when you use the machine, it will do a more thorough job...

Date: 12/27/2002 8:51:00 AM  ( Admin-JGB )   I like to use shaving cream and soda water... put the shaving cream on first, scrub it in with a brush then use the soda water dabbing up the shaving cream... when you remove all the shaving cream with the soda water *poof* you remove the stain too
Date: 12/29/2002 9:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 39887    I use something called shot spot. It comes in a can and has an orange top. I get it from wal-mart. It works great on clothes too.
