Why are people full of hate?
What has succomb thier souls?
Is it Satan?

What happened to loving one another,
Justice and Morales?
Why can't they just sit and talk,
But instead they quarrel?

I work hard everyday,
For what
So the government and some stranger to take it away?
Are they lost in dissaray,
Hoping to find their way?

Or is it their soul,
That is out of control.
Society has turned their backs on one another,
But I love all my sisters and brothers.

I wish I could kill this feeling,
Be blind
Or a different human being.
If only it were that easy,
I'd be cheap and sleazy.
Will not go that way.
Cannot it is not in my heart and soul.
I am so full of love,
Could not hurt this world
Or those who inhabit it.
I try not to judge,
But Gosh being different hurts.
Hold a grudge
What is that?

It is time for a change.
I'll say then they will,
Laugh and turn away
You must change with them,
I have been told.
Their the ones who want all the gold.

You can keep your material,
Keep your ways.
See where it leads you one day?
I know where I will be,
I hope some of you I will see.
If not there's nothing left,
To do but leave you be.
You cannot give what is not desired,
I know it will not be me in the fire.
