A while back, I went with my mom and her friend and daughter to the movies. We had gotten there a little early and were just standing in the parking lot talking. Suddenly, we heard this loud crash and looked to see what had happened. It turned out that a car had smashed into the side of a parked car. The other car started to drive off but there were some other people in the parking lot who started chasing the car and yelling. The car pulled into a spot and the driver lit a cigarette and sat there for about 10 minutes. Then, calm as can be, pulled out and left. Someone got the license plate number and called the police. After the movie, we saw the couple standing by their car. It was an older couple and their car was really old and beat up. They looked so sad and pitiful. We talked to them for a while and found out their daughter had just died and their other daughter had cancer and they didn't even have the money to fix the car. It was the saddest thing I had seen in a long time. Lots of people offered them money but they refused it.
It makes me sick to think that this guy driving a brand new BMW got away with barely a scratch while this older couple was left with nothing but a big scrap of metal. You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or
