My mom has told this story to me several times. ITs pretty freaky. This happened when she was about 17. She lived way out in the country (i grew up in the same place) anyways every evening she would go walk thought the pasture and the woods and fish in a pond/marsh. She always went to the same large tree. One evening she said there was a mound there like something was just buried. She started digging and found bones. she quit and got her mom and dad and they brought a shovel and found more bones. She said they were human bones. They stopped and got the law out there. She said the sherriff just dug them up and took them and they heard nothing else about it again. pretty weird. My brother in laws best friend and cousin were walking in the woods about 6 years ago and they came upon a body tied to a tree. They totally freaked out and ran to town and got help and when they got back to the tree the body was gone. weird. they were pretty freaked out about it.
