A1...there are many posts on here that call Christians to account for the thiings like the inquisition, abortion bombings. If all posts that stated the negative acts of another religion were taken down, the admins would be over loaded hitting the delete button.  |

angel..this post is about questioning the fact that Islam seems to get away with a lot more than Christianity does. That's all. It is fair. It states the fact that Christians too have bombed and been violent. |

I see your point R1 and I don't think other religions could stand up to the magnifying glass that Christianity has always and will always be under. But I do try and seperate individuals. I'm a Christian and I am totally against any and all atrocities that have been done in the name of Christianity. I'm also against Televangelists and their supporters. A lot of Muslims, particularly here in the west are against what other Muslims are doing in the name of Islam. I hope that Muslims will be able to right the wrong Muslims. But it's interesting to note, that a lot of people are starting to do some serious looking into Islam, whether their intention is to reject or reclaim it. As a Christian, and a Non Catholic at that, I'm always told of the horror I some how did hundreds of years ago. Not to mention the fact that I'm a white male, OI VEI. Well, I guess let's keep a loving attitude towards all people as individuals. Good post though, good points. Take care,  |

But you see R1 people tell us that were not tolerant of other religions , yet they can be totally intolerant of us. God forbid we act human, make mistake, bleed or cry. ITS the world that has us on a Pedistile and try to tell us what THEY think God would have us do or not do, behave or not behave. They can not see the mercy and grace of God, and choose to blame HIM when things go wrong with the world. THEY want to PART of a God that allows bad things to happen on earth, even when ONE TRIES TO tell them that its NOT God that is making it happen. They dont want to believe in a god of the world called satan that is making this stuff happen, as then they would have to beleive that there is another counter part, called GOD. ANd then if they beleived that THEY would have to believe that OH MAYBE the bible IS the word of God and JESUS is the way! Sorry guess I'm just having a day, of how stupid things can be. The aclu, for instance oh its OK< for abortion, ITS OK, for so many things, but by GOD YOU WONT have a nativity sceen at the park!! Boy I'm sure many people are killed by a nativity sceen. Oh well I"m done now. |
