The chains held fast against me. The cold steel felt like an ice cube being dropped down my back. He moved quietly into the room. Nothing was in his hands and no one was with him. The hunger came in waves that broke against me like wave in the ocean. The pain of this seemed to be awakened in him. I was unsure of our connection. He stood there as if he was saying he was sorry. Behind him I could see the shadows that the sprinkles of sunlight brought in. The small spots seemed like little mosquitoes to him and he moved closer to me. His eyes held me still. I thought only of my hunger for him. I thought only of how I could bring him closer to me. The smell of blood on him floated off of him and into my nose. I could smell him from across the room. He looked at me. His eyes drawing me in and mine drawing him near. Then in a fleeting moment he broke contact. My eyes could not hide the hunger or the rage. He pulled away and ran into the other room. The door slammed closed as if he could not feel me in the other room calling for his blood and flesh. I had tempted him to come closer to me and die. I could and would wait for his return. I could feel him even though I could not hear a heartbeat. The death in the other room that came from his corpse called to me begging for me to release it as if I had the control. I could not release myself and so if I could I would not release him. The silk sheets added to the cold sensations and the feeling of them brought me back to him eyes in the moonlight. It made me remember his dark hair falling over my face. His hands that had slowly caressed my body ignited a flame inside me. The feelings rushed over my body with a longing for him to touch my side then my back running his hands up and down it for the few moments. The feeling of his hand touching my cheek making them even redder than the cold had done. His calm soul seemed to scream to me calling me to want him. I felt more and more before theses fleeting moments of death. The room seemed to expand and contract at the same time as I felt the memories before my death. Then as soon as they had come they passed with the smell of blood. The simple sweet life was close. I could smell it like a child can smell rain coming. He entered the room with a bit of hesitance. In his hands he held a glass the size of a soda can. The red liquid it held made my mouth water like it used to during the time cookies would bake in the oven as a child. He moved closer and closer to me. My hands still restrained with the cold chains would not reach my mouth. He sat down on the bed next to my waist. A single index finger moved across his lips. His lips were a cold blue-pink. The fullness of them seemed to welcome his movements he would make.
"Don't say a word and you shall have some of this. You scream or make any noise and I will spill it onto the floor and you can smell it. Do you understand?" His sweet calming voice said with a serious tone.
I nodded my head in agreement. I wanted the blood that his strong hands held at bay just far enough. He took his left hand and slowly peeled back the tape. He moved the glass closer to me with his right hand. The torment of his hand moving slowly made the hunger grow more and more ferocious. I pulled my arms as close as I could get them as if I could take the glass from him. The soft rounded brim touched my lips and awakened in me my alter ego. The blood flooded my mouth with every drop. The sweet smell and refreshing taste opened my eyes to his. I could smell his blood on him. When the glass was empty I looked to him for more. I had known it was his blood. His right arm revealed it to me as he had tipped the glass to feed me. He moved closer to me as if he would give me more from the source, his own veins. He quickly kissed me and placed the tape back over my lips as if that would stop the feelings. He left the room before I could affect him. The blood he gave seemed to calm the raging storm in me. I fell quietly to sleep. I only hoped this would not release him from me.
