Well my dentist is soo kool. but one of his nurses is a witch!!! She pokes and picks at your teeth so bad your gums bleed. once she was like, why won't this plaque come off!?!!? *i could hear this scraping noise* i put my hand up so she stopped and i was like "if there's no plaque on my teeth, STOP SCRAPPING AT THEM. I AM BLEEDING BEECAUSE YOUR SCRAPPING AT NOTHING!" and then she was like you floss? i was like yes. three times a day. then she's like, from the looks of your teeth, you sure don't. i was like HOW DO YOU KNOW IF I FLOSS 3 TIMES A DAY, WHICH I DO, OR NOT!!" and she just shut up. my dentist was like, with out your braces on, you have beautiful teeth. i can tell you floss and brush three times a day. good girl and he gave me an AWSOME LOOKING TOOTH BRUAH. i love that tooth brush!!! |

I hate going, but I do it. I'm determined to keep every tooth I have as long as possible. But I'm a nurse, I give shots ALL day, draw blood, and yet, I hate having that needle in MY mouth! I hate the drilling too. |

One time my ex-husband and I went to a dentist. It was the first time we went to this dentist. Well, first of all the Dentist came in eating, then the assistant told the dentist that we asked to have all this stuff done and we didn't say one word of the such. Then they told my husband he needed surgery and that we both needed all this work done. It was going to cost us a bunch of money. So we went to another Dentist instead and he said nothing of surgery, what little bit of work was needed was covered by the insurance, and it was nothing compared to what the other wacko dentist said needed to be done. I'm glad we went and got a second opinion. Other then that I don't have a problem with dentist. |

Good Heavens, MPS!! I'm glad you found another dentist. I went to a dentist from heck one time. He once left me in the chair for about 45 minutes, and he must have gone on a lunch break, because when he came back, and got down in my face, he smelled like onions. LOL. He was always trying to get people to buy things..fluoride..toothpaste...extra x-rays..anything he could think of. He would send the women who worked there, out into the waiting room, to show you these things to try and get you to buy them. They acted more like Avon ladies. LOL. |

Becky, that's how I am. I put it off, until I can't stand it anymore. I had complained to my Husband about how bad the "onion breath" dentist was, but he didn't see anything wrong with him. |

I love going to the dentist I hate the bills. SOme of the best dental insurance don't even pay that much. I have a dental appt in the morning LOL I was thinking should I read this LMAO Well I brushed to hard and messed up some of my gums with this electric toothbrush. Be careful with those! ANyhow I have to have a couple gum grafts which is gonna cost me payments! No new shoes for a while. Better to go then to put it off. People should atleast see a dentist once a year at the least! Sometimes it cost less in the long run hun! Atleast the dentist numbs u before he sticks you! The doctors just stick ya LOL |

The dentist really doesn't scare me. I had to go about 2 and ahalf years ago because I was planning on getting braces so I had to go to the dentist to get a referal for an orthadonist. The ortho sent me to an oral surgeon and that was a NIGHTMARE I had to have 8 teeth removed and I was in bed for a month because I was in such pain. About a month after that I had my braces put on..I've had them on 2 years now. I never knew how much trouble teeth could really be! ACK! |
