Living Without U and When We Risk It All by Kristy Glassen

I got the chicken soup for the teenage soul a couple weeks ago n i read this really great poem n I wanted to share it with everyone because its excatly what Im goin through.

Living Without You

I keep lookin in all the places
where u are suppose to be
but I never seem to find you
and u're all I long 2 see

I just cant seem to understand
what it was the changed your mind
all this time I thought I knew you
when really I was blind

but know that I do not hate you
and I know I never will
because I cared about u then
and I care about u still

Even though u hurt me
I cant seem to let u go
But I will go on without u
and i want to make sure u know

It will take some time to mend
the damage that uve done
but broken hearts do heal
thats where strength comes from

for now the tears may be falling
and my thoguts keep circling to u
but soon things will get better
if u have hope then they always do

When We Risk It all

we cant balem others n love dwindles away
for we knew from the start it never promised to stay

its just one of those things where the stakes are high
and sometimes its forever and sometimes its goodbye

when u love the right way u will never lose
no matter what path life may force u to choose

u may end up with tears or a broken heart
but u knew that u signed up for right from the start

u can only give what uve got to give
and if thats not enought then u must continue to live

life will go on and broken hearts will heal
u must contine on ur quest for thats the deal

throw ur heart into life and never stall
for the greatest risk is to risk nothin at all

u see love is the only thing that we know
that can be dived and dived but continue to grow

and life isnt enough to lock away our heart
just because life may have force 2 peaple apart

we will continue to love and continue to lose
we will continue to pick and continue to choose

and then one day we will jsut risk it all
take the chains off our hearts and dismantle the wall

the last time we love will be the forever
and never again will our hearts be forced to sever

well never have doubts that itll go away
because this time itll be here to stay

but until then we must endure all the pain
for we only see sunshine if we can wait through the rain
