so let's just say i choked on a dorito, i could sue the doritos company for that right? or if my chair "accidentally" tipped over... i could sue the maker of the chair, and maybe i could sue the people that made my floor wax so slippery... why bother going to college when all you have to do is be a clumsy moron?! |

I like this post. There are some really stupid people out there, but you don't know who's more stupid, the ones that sue or the ones that make the judgements. |

This post is awesome. Maybe these companies should just play it totally safe like the companies that make blow-dryers, you've all seen that safety tag that never fails to mention, "DO NOT USE WHILE IN BATHTUB/WATER" lmbo! |

LOL...ya gotta love Andy Rooney and his insights. Well, his insights into most things, anyway. Isn't he the one who said, The only thing that really bugs me about television's coverage is those women they have down on the sidelines who don't know what they're talking about. I mean, I'm not a sexist person, but a woman has no business being down there trying to make some comment about a football game." LMAO....where was his wisdom and common sense that day? Awww....well, he in his 80's so maybe we should give him a little slack on that one. |

And there are funny lists of companies with "too obvious" warning labels like "do not place wet cat in microwave oven to dry" but it seems they NEED these labels because there really are people out there who don't think. They can't win! ~GypsyHawk~ |

He is so right and it all started with the tobbaco company lawsuits. I read recently where the same lawyer who began the lawsuits against tobbaco companies, is holding seminars for lawyers who are suing fastfood companies. Yes, we ALL know smoking is bad, but it is also a personal responsiblilty to quit..should the alcoholic sue the alcohol company??? All this suing is becoming outrageous and ridiculous. I noticed people throwing fits because in the homeland security bill people can't sue drug companies for any vaccine that may injure or kill someone..People don't realize that stuff like that could put these companies OUT OF BUSINESS, or that the cost will only be passed on to the consumer and drug prices will go through the roof even more than what they already are...It blows my mind people can't look beyond the end of their nose. |

You know, I've been complaining about frivolous lawsuits for a while. I've decided. I'm going to take up drinking, drinking heavily. Years down the road when I get cirrhosis of the liver, I'll sue Budweiser and Smirnoff because "I didn't know I could get cirrhosis". It boils down to responsibility. NO ONE wants to take responsibility for their own actions anymore. |

my friend got in an accident a year ago, and recently got sued for it. he smashed the front end up of his explorer trying to stop on some guys trailer behind his truck. the trailer was solid steel, and didnt have a dent on it. but the explorer was near totally (stupid plastic cars). anyways, he just got a letter last week saying he was being sued for 50000 dollars for medical bills and lack of companionship. i almost couldnt stop laughing. his insurance company is going to take care of it for him, and it will probably get thrown out, but come on people... thats crazy. i think she just sued him for holiday money...*dagon* |

Its ridicelous all the suiing !!!its insane only in the usa is it this bad .Its easy money thats all it is .Like the burglar who fell through the roofwindow of the house he was burglaring , he sued the houseowners and won !!Its insane , he shouldnt have been there in the first place .He fell through the roof ?Though luck !!! i say , let him rot in jail for his stupidity for burglaring in the first place and not freakin get paid. Its no wonder crime rates are so high here... may as well break into someone's house , break my leg ,sue the houseowners and get paid a million dollars and then freakin retire .Why bother going to college anymore ???? |
