The things a caterpillar can teach you>----------------------------<heretic>

A few weeks ago, there was a caterpillar inching across the hood of my car. I sat in my driveway and watched it for ten minutes. I kept on thinking how strange it was, that this little creature existed in a world so enormous and expansive, but didn't even know it. We human beings are the same way. We exist in something far greater than anything we could ever comprehend, and are completely oblivious to that fact. The caterpillar was on the hood of my car, but it didn't know that it was. He was just inching along, not sure where he was going or how he got there, but that didn't stop him. He just kept on going towards the rear window, hoping there was something there he could find comfort in. We are just as lost, and just as out of place.
