About 2 or 3 weeks ago really late at night on one of the HBO channels I watched a movie called "Bully", and I'm still thinking about this movie. It was based on a book that was based on a series of true events that happened around 1992 in Florida in Pembroke Pines which was a general nice place to live.
It was about how a group of teenagers decided to kill another teenager because they were tired of being abused by him. The guy's name was Bobby Kent. The people who all conspired or had a hand in murderering him was Marty Puccio, Lisa Connelly, Ali Willis, Heather Swallows, Donny Simineck and Derek (?) who was the cousin of Lisa Connelly, and some local hood.
All teenagers except for the victim were high school dropouts and Heather Swallows didn't even know the guy. Marty and Bobby were friends since their youth and Marty allegedly was abused quite frequently by Bobby but yet was good friends with him. (alledgedly (sp?) Bobby also forced Marty to dance at the local gay bar in town and collected all of Marty's tips and made pornographic movies for fun and profit.
Marty started to date Lisa Connelly. She was an overweight sad girl who became obsessed w/ Marty and soon became pregnant with his baby, but was also speculated to be instead carrying Bobby's baby. I saw found a website off of yahoo when looking up her name and it referred me to the website, www.freelisaconnelly.com and on this website the person running it claims that the people who produced the movie "Bully" were going to come and kill them. Well anyways it has been said that she was the mastermind behind the whole thing.
I also just recently saw something on TLC I think the show is called Medical Examiners about this case. I just think it is such a fascinating story. Do any of you come from the area that this all happened? Do you know the case that I am talking about? Have you seen the movie? Would you help kill somebody that was considered a big bully? I hope I sound clear enough, there's just a lot of stuff that is uncertain about this because it is 7 or 8 different people involved and they all eventually pointed fingers at each other and told different stories.
