That happens to me too on my other computer, but it didn't start happening until after we caught my brother looking at that crap. Maybe you can go through internet explorer, click tools, then go to options. Try clearing the cookies, temp internet files and the history. That's the only thing I can think of. Good luck--Evilgeminitwin23 |

Have you got Ad-Aware or anything?? Run that and trim out the Ad programme that is probably triggering those Pop-ups...those, it must be said, thes normally don't happen unless someone HAS accessed a porn site from that computer, or maybe opened up a spam email sent from a porn site...which can 'plant' a pop-up programme such as 'Gain' on ya system...so delete all cookies and temp files and run Ad Aware through it a coupla times. Peace, |

pick up ad aware and remove anything involved with kaaza and gain... because those have ads hidden all over in them look in the corner of the next pop up and see if it says anything about "gain" and do pick up Ad-aware... it's a great way to clear off all the cookies and to empty your cashe you can also try installing somethin called "net nanny" it keeps all those X-rated sites blocked |

I have this same problem, but mine is because my sicko husband looks at that stuff while I'm in bed. If find a way to get rid of it let me know. I would also like to find a free porn blocker to keep him off that crap. |

it might be something adaware can remove...go to www.lavasoftusa.com and download ad aware 5.83 ---make sure when you run it to select your computer (make sure it is all checked), then click scan now...after it is through (and it won't take long at all) right click on all that it found and select 'check all'...then click continue, and it will remove them. |

This happens to me too and I don't look at porn but I think my oldest son is guilty. Once I opened an e-mail from a name that I know and it said hell from me! I thoght I had gotten an e-mail from my neice. As it turned out, it was a woman sitting on a bed nude,"waiting for me to come in"...I got so mad. As hard as I have tried, it just won't go away. |
