Mortal Beauty...-ERHIT"EveryRoseHasItsThorn"**Poison**

The night grew colder
As the air warmed the moon
Beneath his awakening thought
He knew he'd be hunting soon

He lusts for warm human blood
In this life he lives alone
Waiting for a passer to take
For a meal he enjoys on his own

His eyes follow a young woman
With steadiness waiting to attack
This time he listens to her heartbeat
Wishing he had his old life back

She seems like such a elegant creature
To him her eyes hold what he's sought
A life that he has left behind
That still remains un forgot

His arms long to hold her
But he knows to her he must be dead
For his eyes are full of myth
That most humans dreams dread

His lips want to caress her skin
Without a bite to change her life
He wishes he was human once again
For this mortal beauty to be his wife

When the night begins to slowly fade
He stares at her with desired eyes
As he turns to escape the feared
He wishes he could live without lies

Yet he must remain in the unknown
To her he's a deathless immortal
Sustaining a life that she dismays
With cravings that are far too fatal

He must leave this lover behind
Forgetting his desire and appetite
He must forget her, in which he covets
And remain standing in this fight
