Luv Bug is right...humans create evil...God made us perfect. We choose to do bad things. Ppl always find it so easy to blame God for this and for that and to question Him...the only ppl to blame for this world being so corrupt is us. God gave us life...He gave us the right to live our lives and make our own choices. As for the devil I dont believe there is a devil. people are evil and thats all to it...it has nothing to do with the so called "Devil"  |

Lucifer desired God's power. Lucifer started evil, he began sin. From there in went downhill. Why God did, no one here knows God's mind or knows why he makes the descisions he does. He is God, everything he does is for a greater reason we can not began to fathom. And as for incest....please. It was oulawed once there were enough people to the point where it was not needed anymore. It was needed to reproduce in the beginning, and then when there were enough people, it was no longer required.  |

God didn't create the devil...man did so that he would have something to blame the the "bad" things that happen on and as a scapegoat to avoid personal accountability. He's basically just a mythical creature used as symbolism for "bad" things.  |

Well in my personal opinion, i don't think god is perfect because i don't believe in god, and even if god IS real, he isn't all that great, because if he loves everyone as much as people claim then no matter what they do, he wouldn't want to send them to someplace thats worse than what we're living here. so pretty much if god is real then he sure as hell ain't perfect  |

Author, you take words and apply a meaning to them that can misconstrue the entire process by which I live my life as a (little) Christian. The devil is but your own mind, having you (and me and everyone else) do that which we know will be displeasing to God. As someone said up there it is easier for us to put some kind of "other name" to that than just owning up to our own actions. "Perfect" as it relates to any Christian concept, IMO, is to do the Will of God. There is one that was here on this earth who did the Will of God. But even look at Jesus and his doubts about how things were to go according to God's Will. Was it not "evil" to be hung on a cross? To have God's Plan come to fruition isn't a guarantee that every human being will live "the good life". Why look to God to make everything "good" in your life? He has given you the opportunity to do "good" just by making you a live person. It is up to you to do the good. The flood brought about a bloodline that was necessary for God's Plan. Adam and Eve were the first "humans", which does not necessarily make them the first "humanoids." Instead of putting down God because He doesn't conform to your ideas about what "God" should be like, why don't you try to understand Him in a way that makes sense to you? Use your God-given brain in asking intelligent questions (ones that can be read by those you are asking), and opening up your mind to possibilities beyond what you may have learned from a religion. Freewill, like everyone else has posted. Satan was perfect, it was he who brought evil, not God. Incest was not outlawed in the beginning of time, because Adam and Eve were pure as were there subsequent generations of children. When you start with something 100% pure, it takes a very long time for defects to show. The Eygptian royalty were notorious for there inbreeding, yet it took hundreds if not thousands of years for defects to show up in their recorded history.  |

Ok I have alot to say.I read this pamphlet in comic form titled "in the beggining" written some christian people that were handing them out at this church.Its it the biggest piece of brainwashing propaganda Ive ever read and is hypocrtical by saying scientists brainwash people.It goes on to say that dinosaurs roamed the earth the same time man did And that there was no big bang and heres a nice little qoute "No Jazon,There was nothing Prehistoric."That word was created to brainwash us".THe sad thing si that some people would probaly take heed at the warnings in here of eternal damnation.I mean it says the earth is only 6000 years old from when god created it in 7 days.Note It says All the information comes from "Gods book".What do you think of that? |

God did make us perfect..but if you remember in the beginning when God Forbid Adam and Eve to eat the fruit off the tree..and the devil turned himself into the snake and got Adam to eat the fruit. Thus putting us into evil and being ashamed. It's not Gods fault we do bad things. And yes he doed love us and forgives us when we are asked to be forgiven...but if some guy or girl kills becuz they like it then they don't really love God in the first place. We have the 10 Commandment...10 rules to live by..now tell me how can it be so hard not to do the things that God asked us not to do? This is something everyone will prolly be trying to figure out for the rest of their lives...maybe we aren't meant to understand..but we are meant to have Faith. Have Faith in yourself and most importantly Have Faith in God..he knows what's best even if we don't. Don't question Him...Have Faith.  |

God cannot be perfect in everything. If God is perfectly merciful he will forgive people no matter what, if he is perfectly just then he will punish them to the sins they've done. God cannot be perfect in both he has to lean to one or the other. |
