Was this an act of slavery or was my teacher prejudice?

Okay, a couple of days ago I was in my science class and we had just taken a test, my friend Jasmin asked some boy to turn in her paper for her since he was just on his way to turn in his anyways. Just as she asked the boy that, my science teacher told Jasmin that she never wanted to hear her ask anybody to do anything for her again because it was an act of slavery!!! So my question to you is; is this an act of slavery or is my teacher prejudice?

Date: 11/23/2002 5:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 23610    Well, slavery is when someone doesn't have any free will...so I do think your teacher was being a bit extreme. Maybe she has some issues with slavery and is a little obsessed about it. I mean, I could understand her just saying she would rather have each person turn their own paper in but I don't see the correlation to slavery.
