i am still trying to see our light
a low flicker, sublime
you left me bruised and far behind
you turned a different shade,and i
stayed color blind

you took a stab at my emotions
but didnt complete the killing
bleeding now ,i just day dream
thinking of our good times

i keep my self folded and locked
in, keeping you here in my thoughts
and memories that i will not unfold
creased forever in the cold all my
realities i have sold

time does not have a hold on me
the days can drift by and the night
can flaunt, this i will ignore
for you are all that i want

i see you walking with her
this girl who wheres your heart around
her neck i do not see her face
only mine instead, these tears
i dont feel as they shed

you walk by and i pretend
it is i at your side
drowning in the changes
of the tide
