If you haven't heard of the Spanish girl-group Las Ketchup...you soon will. These cuties from the Iberian Peninsula have a hot hit on their hands; it is titled oddly enough Las Ketchup.

There is just something about pretty girls singing (or talking rapid fire Spanish) that turns me on.

The Las Ketchup will be the hottest thing in pop-music since the Spice Girls....and their song the biggest thing since The Macarena.

You go girls!

Gorm

How it changed my life:

Just another bunch of cuties for me to swoon about. Yes, I'm a guy.

Date: 11/8/2002 4:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 15675    i think unlike the spice girls they wont have staying power. Honestly the only song i've heard from them is the kecthup song and well...the vocals arent the greatest. He he spice girls forever (wow they've been mentioned 3 times in 2 days now on this board )

Date: 11/8/2002 6:32:00 PM  From Authorid: 60685    I dunno about you guys, but their hit song called "Asereje" in Spanish always did bother me a bit, they have like a word game in the song where the chorus is pretty much just a bunch of jibberish, it bothered me cause it was a catchy song and I couldn't stop singing it and I was worried that perhaps that jibberish did mean something. Well, the song was analyzed and apparently it's satanic. In the Spanish version (I dunno much about the English one) they're talking about a guy who apparently it's the devil and such and that the word game was pretty much about worshiping him. -*Skylar*
Date: 11/9/2002 2:03:00 AM  From Authorid: 4887    that song used to get on my nerves. But it's quite catchy. I have both versions lol which i listed to a couple times in a row:P lol this is wht the song says.... Friday night it's party time
feeling ready looking fine,
viene diego rumbeando,
with the magic in his eyes
checking every girl in sight,
grooving like he does the mambo
he's the man alli en la disco,
playing sexy felling hotter,
he's the king bailando et ritmo ragatanga,
and the dj that he knows well,
on the spot always around twelve,
plays the mix that diego mezcla con la salsa,
y la baila and he dances y la canta

Chorus:
aserejè ja de jè de jebe tu de jebere seibiunouva,
majavi an de bugui an de buididipi,
aserejè ja de jè de jebe tu de jebere seibiunouva,
majavi an de bugui an de buididipi

many think its brujeria,
how he comes and disappears,
every move will hypnotize you,
some will call it chuleria,
others say that its the real,
rastafari afrogitano

he's the man alli en la disco,
playing sexy felling hotter,
he's the king bailando et ritmo ragatanga,
and the dj that he knows well,
on the spot always around twelve,
plays the mix that diego mezcla con la salsa,
y la baila and he dances y la canta

Date: 11/10/2002 4:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 56971    all we need is any other one hit wonder that has no talent. half of these gril groupos lack talent
Date: 11/10/2002 8:36:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 177    hECK....if they can dance & sing.....Im gonna be their next best fan.
Date: 11/10/2002 9:02:00 PM  From Authorid: 28946    I heard about this tonight on the TV. The song reminds me of The Macarena. Maybe because of the dancing and the upbeat music. I wish them the best of it all!
Date: 11/29/2002 10:11:00 PM  From Authorid: 16631    My mother told me the other day that some people think that "Las Ketchup" are affiliated with satan or something because of some "jiberish" they say in this one song you cant even understand.
Date: 11/30/2002 5:21:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 177    Well, any foreign language that's sung really fast can sound like jibberish.
Date: 12/23/2002 6:58:00 PM  From Authorid: 50103    This song is so annoying! It gets in your head and never leaves!
