It was in the middle of the night
My eyes wandered my room alone
I paced the floor in a fast rythm
Waiting for the ring of the phone
My ears became sharp like an owl
I tried to listen for every beat
Suddenly I heard a tapping noise
It was only the movement of my feet
My eye lids were giving up
I tried to pray to the lord above
All I could ask myself was...

I stretched my arms into the air
Without any last yawns or words to keep
The phone never made a sound
My feet slowly made their drop

When everything came to a stop

Not in the sunlight or the night rain
Beneath the naked moons shadow
All I could feel was bitterness and pain
My days seem to be longer
I can't tell the difference between light and dark
Where there once was a blazeing fire
Has now been replaced with a tiny spark
I can't remember kissing your lips
With your nectar still on my tounge
I don't even remember
The loves melody the robins sung
If only you were here again
I know I could be happy in my life
Treasuring every moment with you
As two become husband and wife
In unison hearts beating together
With a steady motion of bliss
Sealed with desire and devotion
Locked in a lovers kiss
But.. you're gone
