ABORTION

I can't wait to see my mommy,
I wonder what life is like out there,
I can't wait to see if my daddy
gave me his brown hair.
Maybe I have a sister, or a brother,
I wonder if the excitement of me
has reached my grandmother.

Mommy am I your prayer?
God told me I was your miracle,
Mommy do you care,
God told me I was your angel.

Six weeks inside a water bed,
My heart has been pumping,
My eyes see from my head.
Mommy I see your heart,
and I'm so glad that I am by it
It pumps life for me,
thank you for giving me this chance for life,
Thank you for letting me try it.

Mommy, have you dreamed of me all your life?
God said I'd teach you about true love,
Through heartache and strife,
You'd learn about the consequences of giving up.

Mommy, I feel something I've never felt before,
a pain in the back of my head,
I'm bleeding, It's so sore.
Is this life?
Is this what it feels like to live?
Mommy, why do I feel
like I'm slipping away?
What gives?
I'm trying to scream,
My eyes have started crying,
How can this be?
I haven't expierenced life yet,
so how can I be dying?

Mommy I can't see your heart,
the one that gave me life,
Mommy, why'd you do it,
Why'd you let me take the knife?
It's so cold,
laying here in a million pieces
on the Docters table,
Mommy this is murder,
Why does Abortion have me labeled?

Mommy, It's okay, I'm okay now,
I didn't die alone,
God wrapped me in a towel
and took me home.
He cradled me untill
I didn't hurt anymore,
yeah my head is fine,
it's not as sore.
Mommy I wish you could of held me,
I was your miracle,
Jesus said I didn't have to die,
either way I am an angel.
