What I do...........................................Steel Dove

I sit here and peck away,
I hit the keys in different ways.

I hit with anger to show my emotion,
I hit with confusion to show my devotion.

I pound and slam to record my thoughts,
I do this to remember that love isn't tossed.

I write the words that bring you confusion,
I rhyme the phrases that that explain my delusion.

I don't just do it to give a release,
I do it so somehow there is a retreat.

I write this hoopla to share with just you,
I write it so you dive in my hearts real truth.

So share what you have, make you a new,
I say this for that it what I had to do.
